"Spring is Springing in Albuquerque"--today, April 20, 2010 just before we left to drive back "home" to the White Mountains. Joy-Vernon

Red Bud trees are blooming all over Albuquerque...It's Spring! Joy-Vernon

Every time we pass by this volcano I think it looks like velvet to me...like the velvet on a deer's horns in the Spring... the soft, velvet-like covering that deer antlers have before they turn bony. Antlers are organs of bone which regenerate each year from the heads of male deer. I took this from our moving car 10 miles from our home on Hwy. 60 today, April 20, 2010. Joy-Vernon

Near Page, Tuesday afternoon. Taken by Paul Csurka, on the road again...

Late this afternoon, I noticed this female Scott's Oriole in our plum tree drinking from the blossoms. Now it is snowing! April 21, 2010 Joy-Vernon

Sir Darby Duncan, known to us as just plain, "Darby" playing in the snow tonight, April 21, 2010. Eastie & Westie were playing with him. We are pretty sure Eastie is pregnant with Darby's puppies, or maybe they should be called, "deasties". Joy-Vernon
