![]() Once threatened, the Canada Goose is now found in every contiguous U.S. state and Canadian province at one time of the year or another. Joy-Vernon |
![]() We went back to Rainbow Lake two more times last week. I fell in love with this Chinese Goose. It is so dear, tame, gentle eating out of our hands, but I went online & read the foods with salt or additives are NOT good for the birds! 2-10 Joy-Vernon |
![]() This is a close up of the Chinese Goose I have fallen in love with. I had an online "Name that Goose" contest & I chose Rick's suggestion, "Couscous the Goose". This was on February 10, 2010 Joy-Vernon |

![]() Couscous gently eating cheese crackers (that we apparently shouldn't have fed them) out of Rick's hand. 2-10-10 Joy-Vernon |
![]() After eating & preening, a number of the ducks & geese settled in for a nap in the disabled spot. Standing on one leg and sleeping...in the "Disabled Area" was made for a humorous photo. Joy-Vernon |
