![]() We have always had hundreds of these White-Winged Doves in our Albuquerque neighborhood. I took this on our garden wall Thurs. afternoon. They are all over the yard, gutters in the street and on this wall. A group of doves has many collective nouns, including a "bevy", "cote", "dole", "dule", and "flight" of doves. The global population of this bird is estimated to be around 19 million individual birds. 8-14-10 Joy-Vernon |
