 This was yesterday, the mother bird sitting on the nesting box the Titmice use. Her nest is above the birdhouse, in the eaves of the corner of the roof. She and the daddy have been trying to kick the babies out of the nest for days. Joy-Vernon |
 This baby has FINALLY left the nest, but remains in the eaves! We have the dogs shut in the house & are trying to give the parents privacy and safety while their babies learn to fly.  Here is the "View" from the property my father bought it Florida in 1947, which I related to the family on Rainbow Lake making a sign pleading with people not to trespass on the lake front property their family had bought in 1940.  We drove over to Albuquerque today. This is on Hwy. 117 heading North to I-40 and on to Albuq. We will be driving back to the White Mountains tomorrow where it is ten degrees cooler. Joy-Vernon |
