 We had the most delightful Fourth of July Celebration ever. We entertained a new family to the White Mountains... "The Ma family". Dr. Wei Ma has taken a teaching job with Northland Pioneer College. He and his family will be a tremendous asset to our community. Mrs. Ma's parents are visiting from Mainland China. We took them through the Sitgreaves Forrest before we had dinner. Dr. Ma e mailed us, "Thanks for having us over and introducing us to the beautiful wilderness of White Mountains. This was one of the best experiences for everybody". Joy-Vernon. |
 Miss Amy, who has only lived in the White Mountains for a couple of weeks, celebrating "The Fourth of July"...2010, our country's 234th birthday. She comes from a country that is 5,000 years old. Joy-Vernon |
 On our trip through the Sitgreaves National Forest on July 4th, we didn't see any deer or elk, but we did see lots of free range cows. This mother has twins. Joy-Vernon |

 "If Looks Could Kill" A few days ago, I walked out to the road we live on to take photos of the sunset. At least six rabbits were playing/chasing each other before they noticed me. This cottontail seems to be giving me a hacked at me..."look" when I interrupted their play time. Joy-Vernon |
