Back "home" to the White Mountains on #117 heading towards Quemado, N.M. Joy-Vernon

Heading back to the White Mountains from Albuquerque this "back way" (May 7, 2010), we only saw 4 antelope, standing near this road in what I call, "Magic Light". Then I saw a stately buck antelope standing (on the opposite side of the road quite a distance from the females.) In the spring & summer they form small single-sex groups ... that is what we saw today. Joy-Vernon

A beautiful day at Woodland Lake May 8, 2010. To think we were in Albuquerque just the day before. Love it here in the White Mountains! Joy-Vernon
