Cedar Waxwings are not very common where we live. I saw a couple last year and this one this week. They are not even listed in my Bird of Arizona Field Guide. Joy-Vernon

This one is a Dark-eyed male Junco Joy-Vernon

We have lots of Juncos all year round, so I take them for granted. This is a Gray-headed male Junco this week. Joy-Vernon

15 Bluebirds at one of two bird baths right after we filled them back up. There is one bluebird on the left that is hard to see as it is drinking. There is usually one robin with them and there IS one robin in the far left hand corner! Joy-Vernon

Rick was moving the two heated bird baths for me. Three of our Pinon pine trees were filled with Bluebirds just waiting for him to refill the bird baths! There are 13 in this photo, but two other trees were filled, too. Joy-Vernon
