This was just last week, October 28, 2009, when we had the first snowfall of the year. Eastie on the left and Westie watching the cotton tail rabbits and birds. Joy-Vernon

Juncos with the cottontail. Eastie, Westie and I observed the Juncos attacking the rabbit...they flew in to its face and it ran away. Joy-Vernon

This area is fenced in to protect the critters from Eastie & Westie. They just watch from one of their lounging beds. Joy-Vernon

There are so many Scrub Jays around everyday of the year that I don't get excited to see them. If they were rare I would not take them for granted. Joy-Vernon
