Attractions and Considerations: The Country Club - Los Burros Connector Trail provides a nice way to connect both trails for a longer trip. The trail crosses several drainages and winds in and out of thick pine forests. Many plant species can be found during the spring and summer.

The trail crosses several main forest service roads, providing easy access along the trail. Check your forest map to find these.

Access and trailhead location: #1 From Country Club Trailhead: From Lakeside Ranger Station drive south on AZ 260 towards McNary. Turn left on Bucksprings Road. Drive 0.6 miles. Turn left on FR 182 (to Sky High Retreat). Drive 2 miles. Pass Springs Trailhead on left. Where FR 182 veers to left, proceed straight on FR 185 past Sierra Springs Ranch entrance. Trailhead is on right. Follow trail to east, connector trail starts northwest of Chipmunk Springs.

Access and trailhead location: #2 From Los Burros Trailhead: From Lakeside drive south on AZ 260 to McNary. In McNary turn left on FR 224, following signs to Vernon. Drive 8 miles to Los Burros Campground. Trailhead is at far end of campground. Follow trail west to Reservation Flats, connector trail starts at southwest corner of Reservation Flats.
