Cooley Lake
(White Mountain Apache Reservation)
Located south of Pinetop-Lakeside, Cooley Lake is accessed via Highway 260 and is at an elevation of 7,000 feet. There are ten (10) family camp units available. There is safe drinking water along with fishing and boating activities. The managed Season is April to November. Trailers are accommodated. Stays are limited to 10 days. This is a fee area and permits are required from the White Mountain Apache Tribe. You may contact the Tribe's Game & Fish Department for fee and permit information at:
